Ghanaian Rapper, Kwaw Kese, has called on the general public to appreciate and support any artiste who is trying to support other acts in the music industry. According to the rapper, it is difficult for an artiste to put themselves on the world map, likewise pushing others.

He wrote on Twitter, “managing artist as an artist in Gh is never easy, pls let’s appreciate any artist trying to push/put another artist on.”

His comments come after many people attacked Sarkodie after it emerged that SarkCess Music and rapper Strongman parted ways.

The label, owned by award-wining rapper Sarkodie, signed the young talent in March 2017 with the aim of helping marketing his enormous talent. But after several months of rumors of friction between both parties, they have agreed to go their separate ways.

Many people called out Sarkodie for not extending the contract with Strongman.

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has trolled the rapper for being broke resulting in the split.

Kwaw Kese in his tweet listed some of the artistes in the country who have taken other acts under their wing.

Samini, the first is known for signing young artistes till they have the wings to stand on their own in the industry. Some of the acts he has signed before include, Stonebwoy, Kofi Kinaata and Kaakie. Sarkodie signed Strongman but recently parted ways with the young artiste.

Stonebwoy signs season seven MTN Hitmaker winner OV and dancehall artiste Kelvyn Boy while DBlack has signed Freda Rhymz from MTN Hitmaker season six.

The list also included Kwaw Kese, R2Bees and EL.
