The Adomi Bridge which has its spans the Volta River that drains into the Gulf of Guinea, south of the Akosombo Dam. It is a two-hinged steel arch bridge with a deck suspended by cables. The Asuogyaman District disclosed that the people are being charged this amount of money for it to cover up the amount of money they used in the maintenance which was incurred by the assembly.
They added that they are doing this to boast the tourism sector of the economy. They Urge the government to add the Adomi Bridge as an iconic tourist site.
